Online Program Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time Online Program Specialist to work with our Online Program team in the US. The Online Program Specialist will be the contact person to communicate with students and parents and will be responsible for making sure students have a positive online learning experience. This position requires some late hours to cover evening communications with U.S. office and students’ families.

Primary Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and perform other duties as assigned.
• Fully understand different programs offered to students to better answer students’ and parents’ questions regarding course registration, course policy and requirements, technical issues, etc.;
• Act as the point person to communicate with students and parents and respond in a timely manner;
• Manage the systems used for Online Program, including online registration platform, the learning management system (e.g., Schoology), and the student information system (e.g., Jupiter, PowerSchool);
• Coordinate with the Online Program team to meet students’ and parents’ needs;
• Communicate with teachers about students’ questions, requests, and comments;
• Keep records of interactions with students and parents;
• Support the Online Program team in marketing, recruitment, registration, and system management;
• Take extra miles to engage students and parents;
• Always maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward students and parents.

Education and Experience Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field;
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.

• English proficiency;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with learning management systems preferred;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Great interpersonal skills and ability to handle stressful and urgent cases;
• Responsiveness;
• Attention to details and organizational skills;
• Ability to remain positive and be customer service orientated;
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team;
• Flexibility and willingness to work and communicate outside normal business hours;
• Passion for international education.
